Peacock Rowing Center Docks ~ South Passage Point

4/29/2014 ~ Peacock Rowing Center Docks adjacent to the South Passage Point Park on the South Side of the Lake Union and Portage Bay Shoreline, Eastlake Neighborhood, Seattle, WA.

A short walk along Fairview Avenue & Fuhrman Avenue in the Eastlake Neighborhood after being out and about for a few hours this evening. In the image you will also see the University Bridge that connects the Eastlake Neighborhood to the University District. In the image is the University of Washington Tower at 22 stories and is the tallest tower in the University District. The building cranes are adding additional dormitories as well as apartments buildings and condominiums. Only traffic on the water is a lone kayaker wearing a red jacket to match is boat.

Incredibly beautiful and warm evening to take a walk and a sign that spring has moved into the Pacific Northwest! Weather forecast looks wonderful for the next few days with the temperatures in the 70's and 80's before dipping back into the 50's and 60's as we move into the weekend!
