Art Speak

My mother-in-law dropped in today with some borrowed dishes and a copy of the Sunday Times Culture section from Easter Sunday.
I asked her to keep so I could read Waldemar Januszczack's review of the new Matisse Cut-Outs show at Tate Modern.
I like the way he writes. Funny and serious at the same time. Hoping to get to London before September to see it as I love Matisse's work.
After the Matisse spread, there was a Bryan Appleyard interview with artist and award-winning film director, Julian Schnabel.
Another good read...this quote jumped out at me.
Sometimes you read a phrase or hear someone say something very profound and it plays in your head.
