One more sleep .......

One of the best things about owning a dog is that you have to get out and about in all weathers. That means you appreciate the seasons more. Well this morning was no exception. It was beautiful - blue skies, sun and white crispy snow. I felt as if I was walking through a snowy jigsaw scene.

MP was up even earlier this morning (mental note - don't let her snooze all evening), so I took the opportunity to become Nigella again, making another batch of tablet and macaroon bars. When you cook in the morning, in your dressing gown, you really do think you are Nigella! Enjoyed doing this while listening to yet another fabby sermon by one of our previous ministers, Liam Goligher.

Going to visit Mags and Mr Mags tonight, so will need to do another Nigella session this afternoon. I am making a peach and chocolate trifle to take with me. JK will be there too - she is from Jamaica and is spending Christmas with the Mags couple. JK has never seen snow, so she is really excited by it.

I took the chance to blip a few photos of MP as it is much easier to photograph a black dog in the snow!
