Shuffling off home

It was a decidedly chilly day, and everyone was dressed a little more warmly. She came shuffling along (home I hope) with a pair of shoes/slippers which seemed to be several sizes larger than required.

I also noticed a chap fondling a loon. For Canadians, the loon is emblazed on our dollar coin (aka loonie). It seemed like an omen of our pending move.
