Swallow

Why does everything go wrong when one is just about to go away? Both my gardener and builder asked this today. The hydraulics failed on a sluice gate and having spent several hours repairing it, the hydropower also went on the blink. We managed to fix that as well.

Then, this little cute swallow, having flown all the way from Africa (I think), managed to fly into a converted barn we have. John, the gardener managed to catch it and we thought it would make a blip.

I must finish getting ready for our trip on Thursday. I saw a wonderful bluebell wood today, and if the light is right tomorrow, I get the feeling it will assist in delaying my packing.
