Shanghai

Shanghai was our next stop. Another mega city!! The downtown buildings are just fabulous.

If you haven't been to China,  then if you are like me, it will not be anything like you imagined it to be. Wealth and new buildings abound in the cities. Infrastructure development that is mind boggling. 

Tower blocks being built everywhere, and not just one or two at a time. It is as if they are being cloned.

Traffic is a nightmare but it moves:)) They love 4 a wheel drive! car, they are everywhere 

Shanghai had to top my list of the cities we visited. It was very western and you struggle to think you were in China, apart from the fact the population is almost entirely Chinese.

I took this shot from the top of one of the highest buildings in the world. I deliberately over processed it to be able to see the towers of apartments stretching to the horizon.

Well worth looking as large as you can, it was a truly amazing panorama.
