On the beach

Back blip 1 Saturday

A long journey to the NW today but we left the rain behind in England.

A little shopping in Ullapool and then up to the 'wee hoose'. We had a reviving glass and then headed straight down to the beach for the last of the sun as seen here.
The tide was in and high but there is always a spit of sand that remains between the burn and the sea.

There was a group of young men fishing off the rocks and a family wild camping on the beach with a wood fire which smelled wonderful.

A great week ahead watching the clouds shift over those mountains and the sea ebb and flow.
