Green in the gloom.

Although it was very grey on our morning walk it was noticeable that lots of plants are now producing fresh green leaves.

In the woods we passed the lovely Larch, Beech and Mountain Ash coming into leaf giving some welcome green and here, up on the moors, Bilberry plants giving a touch of brightness amongst the brown bracken and heather.

The pink flowers will become deep purple berries which can make a delicious pie if you can be bothered spending hours collecting enough, swatting the flies and giving yourself backache!

Love to see the greenness returning.

Hope to see lots of green over the coming days and the return of the sun if we are really lucky, but we may struggle with wifi some of the time.
