It was C's birthday today.

We cycled to Damme via Oostkerke, visited the Uilenspiegel museum, had coffee & waffles at Tij & Nele and bought a book on Uilenspiegel - more because I was scared of the woman than that I thought I would understand it - then via Vivenkapelle to Moerkerke, where a very friendly man, who talked a lot, told us a bit about the church & the castle.

The walkie talkies work, but we have to do something about the wind.

Had a beer & shower before dinner of a seafood pot & cod with cockles & French Merlot.

Weather was pleasant, but the wind was cold at times.
