Keep Calm and Eat Cake

A perfect Sunday afternoon for my friend Sue and me after our high-pressure week at work.

First, a guided Cupcake & Macaron Walk around Covent Garden, Soho and Mayfair, sampling confections from specialists like The Cupcake Bakehouse and Laduree. The tour finished at Fortnum & Mason's, where we stayed for a savoury tiffin and tea to rejuvenate the tastebuds after our sugar overload. And to end the day, a little light shopping for shoes.

What more could a girl want?
