Chinese teapot

Before leaving the UK my sister and I indulged in one of our favourite pastimes - visiting the local fleamarket (alias antiques shop).

There was plenty to look at but this teapot caught my eye, mostly because of the strange faces on the spout and handle. I suppose they could be dragons? But to me they look more like snakes, or even worms! The decoration on the teapot is pretty haphazard but then again it only cost me the princely sum of 5 GBP.

It will be perfect for making chinese tea, and will remind me of the fun we had trawling the flea market!
