A neighbor's tree helped with my blip for today. A quiet day as I found a good book at the library and it's been hard to put down. Our son is coming over soon to share his news on trying to find an apartment. He is moving out of the wonderful condo that he shares with a friend, as the friend found a boyfriend and three's company works for a little while. But, as the boyfriend is moving his stuff in, the owner of the condo notified all of them that she is going to put the place up for sale and they ALL have to be out by June 22. David was already mentally prepared to go, but the other two are disappointed. This condo was so perfect as the location was too good to be true for both David's job and for his roommates job at Adidas.. All good things come to an end, and I hope they all can find someplace that is convenient. Rent is just insane at the moment and I sure hope David can find something decent that he can afford.

The Trailblazers are playing tonight and Bill will be off with his buddy to enjoy the first home game in the playoffs. With two out of town wins under their belt, the Moda Center (it changed from the Rose Garden...bummer) will be rocking and rolling tonight. It is fun to see it in person, all the stuff that goes on that you don't see on TV, but it is so freakin' LOUD that I don't mind missing out. It totally disrupts my hearing and even though I get over it...the tinnitus just SCREAMS in my head along with the noise of all those people.
