Clownfish cuddle
This morning on the way to the Aquarium we saw a pod of about 200 dolphins right next to the coast road about 3km from home - what a fantastic experience. I try and go to the Aquarium at least one a year as it it so uplifting and fantastic. The photo is of the western clownfish (aka nemo)
that protect themselves from predators by hiding within the waving tentacles of sea anemones. At the Two Oceans Aquarium the clownfish have adopted a flat plastic surface as their ‘anemone’. They gather over the surface and touch it with the sides of their bodies as though cuddling it.
