Twinkle, Twinkle Little Chicks

I had half an hour to kill at lunch time so I stopped off at Hull Road Park in York to eat my sandwich - and then I strolled down to the river, which at this point is more like a pond.

There were a few of these little cuties around - but they were all moving around so fast I only managed to grab a couple of shots with more than one in frame. I like this one because of the sparkle on the water.

As I only had my small camera I couldn't zoom in much (90mm equivalent on full frame) - so this is a severe crop!
