Saltaire

A ten mile walk today, starting and finishing at Saltaire. Can you work out this shot?

We began by visiting the galleries to see David Hockney's "25 Trees." Then through Roberts Park and up to Baildon Moor, returning down to the River Aire via this curious kissing gate.

Along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal as far as the Bingley Five Rise Locks. On the return journey we avoided the danger of drowning and dealt with the more serious risks of thirst and starvation. The Ossett Brewery's "Yorkshire Blonde" was especially fine.

Here is more information about Saltaire, a World Heritage Site.
