Sometimes I wonder....
There was no mad waking up at daft times this morning! I didn't get up until 5:45am and was happily(?) logged in at 6:40am which is perfectly normal for me. This week has been very quiet on the Sys Admin side with so many people taking the whole English Easter school fortnight off. You need to make the most of quiet times like these, to catch up on tedious stuff such as documentation.
Mom went off to the 10am mass as is her routine in the middle of the week and came back with another Mars bar. I'm not sure why she keeps buying me Mars bars as I think they are really sickly. She sings that awful old advert jingle at me too - 'A Mars a day, helps you work, rest and play!' but in my case they make me feel like throwing up. As it was I had a massive stomach ache after lunch brought on by overdoing the onions on my ham sarnie. I really love onions but I always eat too many and get a belly ache sometimes.
Mom often surprises me with some of her sudden remarks. She said that the most embarrassed she ever felt was when she went to a Christmas party at the Forest of Arden golf and country club where dad used to play years ago. She had got up to dance with Julian Lloyd Webber (Andrew Lloyd Webber's brother who plays the cello) against her better judgement as she'd just finished eating a very rich fruit laden Christmas pudding. She wasn't ill mercifully but had to escape from the dance floor quickly when she had a dreadful attack of wind and couldn't stop letting off! I couldn't stop laughing when she told me! No wonder that man has such an odd look on his face! He must have frowned at the unfortunate whiff and his expression stuck! She told me not to tell all my blip pals and I assured her I wouldn't as I'd hate everyone to think that those sorts of habits were inherited by me.
Anyway, when I'd finished work for the day, I wandered up the road with the bread bag to feed my feathered friends. Mom wouldn't come with me as she says she hates being glared at by the people who park their cars by TK Maxx. I tell you it's really hard to throw bread and take pictures at the same time!
Here are a few of the gang.
Go scarily large!
That's it for today.
Track? This version of the song by the Sensational Alex Harvey really makes me laugh the way he falls through the high bit - Runaway
