Chancery Roof

Last visit to the dentist in York, thank goodness!

This is my favourite bit of the Minster, the business end of the building where all the wheeling dealing took place. The chancery is completely round with thin tall statues lining the walls and the ceiling consists of perfectly formed circles, stars and arches. It appeals to me because of its symmetry and brightness.

Playing in a golf match at Cleveland tomorrow, about two hours away so a long day. Do not know how Cleveland manages to be in the Yorkshire league but if Sickleholme (which is definitely in Derbyshire) manages it why not Cleveland!
