Ohhh let the leg break freeeee

Today the plaster was removed, all went well although it will take some practice to walk on the foot normally or 'walk this way' as John would say.

We had a reasonable day in Oban, it was dry, people to chat with on the ferry and later J collected the shopping. And no wheel chair was used - our choice - a feel good factor, all very grown up. I feel sure anyone who has experienced a broken leg will understand the great feeling of growing independance, walking is something we take for granted normally. And yes a year of blipping, there are some gaps earlier on, but in recent months a blip a day has become the norm.
