Stanley, daughter and farewell

The day after I was admitted to hospital the gentleman in this photo was brought into the same ward in an awful state having suffered a bleed in the brain. His name is Stanley and 6 week later lo and behold having both been in various locations around the hospital. Here his daughter tends to him. He is coming on slowly but surely and hopefully will join me in making a full recovery.
Tomorrow morning I am being shipped out of here for a couple of hours to the private Blackrock clinic for a PET Scan. The docs are really fishing deep right now in an effort to find out what's causing my pneumonias. Meanwhile they have withdrawn all the anti-biotics as being useless against this particular bug.
My wife brought my compact camera in here to me several days ago but to be perfectly honest I have been too ill to think much about photography. It's difficult to concentrate when one's temperature is raging between 38 and 41 degrees C.
My Blipfoto membership comes up for renewal in a couple of weeks time and I do not intend to renew it. I have far too much getting well to do over the next while and I will basically be taking a photographic siesta until the health returns.
Thanks for all the fun, for the comments and the encouragement. Note that I am saying farewell not goodbye.
