The garden at dusk...

A day of rest and recovery before fieldwork tomorrow. Most of it was spent at the computer, drawing maps, which is probably not good for my back! The garden is burgeoning now- you can almost see the plants growing - no doubt helped by some welcome rain. This is the view along the east side of our garden, looking towards the orchard, where you can just see the apple blossom. The perennial wallflower in the foreground has been blooming for well over a year continuously - it didn't stop at all in our mild winter!
