Nativity

I took one photo I was really quite pleased with today and this is not it.

I have blipped this to share with others the imaginative use of fruit and veg at our local Farm Shop.

It features the baby Jesus (carrot and sprout) in a crib, Mary and Joseph (potato and onion), Shepherds (again potato and onion) with cauliflower sheep, donkeys (carrot and potato plus, for the one lying down to the right of the crib, one Brussels sprout) and three wise men (Swede, potato, an apple, sprout sticks and citrus fruit) The third wise man out of shot also has a pineapple top crown

It is stunningly effective. Bonus points to the artist, if that?s the right word.
