White washed walls
Son#1 is safely now ensconced. The wind behind him, he blew in 35 minutes early so we weren't home too late.
A pleasant wander around Tra Ruim - down to the headland, onto the cliffs, down little boreens where the walls look whitewashed with lichen. The highlight was seeing a dolphin leap out of the water. We heard a gigantic splash, looked and just glimpsed it leaping. We waited, cameras poised, but it vanished. We met a friend with a strong accent and discussed this and that. Afterwards son #1 looked rather incredulous 'Did he say arse doctor?' No we assured, him horse doctor!
A chilled evening beckons.
