The Visitor

This little kitten has been become a regular visitor while I've been away, with a bit of encouragement from Tony. She likes to hide under the cover over the wooden bench on the decking - I was surprised by the rustling sound from there while sitting outside this morning. She obviously belongs to one of our neighbours, as she has a collar, but seems a bit thin and hungry. Tony is away for a few days, but told me he has been putting out a saucer of milk for her, so I did the same today - she lapped it up very eagerly. Now she is so at home that she pushes at the back door if it is closed - I have to remember to keep the inner kitchen door closed that leads into the rest of the house, otherwise who knows where she'd get to!
She is very much a witch's familiar, being black with bright green, very intelligent and observing, eyes.
