COLOUR IN BLACK AND WHITE

You can't avoid snow in any outdoor shot today. So much of it everywhere. Walked to the shops, taking little mincy steps all the way to avoid slipping and sliding, admiring the confident youngsters taking snow in their stride. So although I hadn't planned for this to be black and white, it happened anyway. This little bird and its mate were hopping down for berries and anything else they could find. I love its sweet, fat shape.

Tomorrow we're off to London to visit the Queens - fun people - friends of my granddaughter - and then on to Somerset to spend Christmas with one of Mundy's former wives who grows her own veges and cooks like a dream, so we'll be feasting well.
