Suilven
This morning a cold wind flapped the tent, and when I emerged, cloud was rolling up the glen to envelope everything. Not shorts today! After packing up, I clambered up rock to the shoulder of the quartzite quarry otherwise known as Breabag. At the summit, the cloud was below me, and onlythe hills of Assynt were clear.
The traverse of Breabag took much longer than planned, due to its complexity of rock slabs, scree, walls, humps and bumps. I reached Inchnadamph to catch the only bus of the day with 10minutes to spare.
This was a very satisfying section of the Cape Wrath Trail (or at least my version of it). The weather has been kind. I see the end is in sight - next year.
