Early purple orchid

Another visit to Howe Ridding today, in the afternoon sunshine and 21C.

There were orange tip, brimstone, peacock, comma, green hairstreak, green veined white, speckled wood butterflies, and the bluebells and orchids are opening.

So far so good this year, but can it last?
