Carlingford Lough

This is the Loch side at Warrenpoint in County Down. While we were exploring we discovered the Ross Memorial, a great granite obelisk commemorating Major General Robert Ross who went to America in 1815 to avenge the losses in the war and is now a local hero.

On our voyage back to Heysham, we spotted 22 Harbour Porpoises! It was a millpond still crossing, and sunny all the way. Wow!
