Picnic perfect

We went on a really long 4 hour walk today as it was such fabulous spring weather. Normally so energetic, poor Bruce was feeling his short legs I think but extra treats along the way gave him renewed energy. We found just the most perfect picnic spot deep along a road into a glen where a stream was meandering across the path so, while I enjoyed my picnic lunch, the dogs happily refreshed themselves with clean water, paddled and rested.

We have also seen numerous ducks, robins, wagtails, a hen pheasant and wonderously, a red squirrel.
