Out of Edinburgh
I am off again on my travels and was pleased to get such a good view of the new road bridge under construction as the plane flew over the Forth. You can clearly see the darker and older railway bridge furthest away, then the current road bridge and then, in the foreground, the huge supporting pillars of the new Queensferry Crossing, which requires 30,000 tonnes of steel and will apparently be the longest three tower cable-stayed bridge in the world.
