Simple treats at home - nice

I won’t go on about how nice it is to be home… but it iS!

A long hot shower this morning. Nice to know all the folk who have been in this shower, and it’s only a handful. Some of the showers I’ve been in recently I didn’t like to look too closely (Note to self: always bring flip flops for strange showers). ( Note to self: don't go on any more 'dubious showers' holidays...)

A few simple treats - Shreddies and whole milk - I really have missed that! Mature cheddar on oatcakes with some quince jelly. Yum yum.

A weak sun, but still a tad chilly for my brief stroll around the garden. Spring has sprung in our absence and the grass will need cutting this week.

JR’s washing done. My suitcase (full of dirty clothes) has yet to arrive, but they’ve rung and it’s speeding towards me as we speak.

JR has gone off for her most anticipated treat - a visit to Waitrose!
