A New Skill

Today's picture is of a bracelet that I made, my daughter Beth taught me how to make this while we were waiting for our dinner at out local pub. Halfway through our starters turned up, so I asked Beth how we stopped and she said you can't, you just have to leave it on your fingers!!! So I did, then realise the ends of my fingers were turning quite blue...

Today's verse is about children, and the things that you teach them as adults / parents. I have always thought that when you have a baby, the things you say to them, you are speaking to their soul. They do not understand with their mind, but their soul hears, and these things become rooted deeply in that child's life. Why do you think psychologists spend so much time unpicking what happened as a child!!! So be careful what you say, and it is your opportunity to instil some strong beliefs and encouraging words. I also want to encourage all those parents who may feel that their child has grown up and "gone astray", do not worry, the things that you taught are still there, and I am certain that they will come back one day...
