Telyt Tweetiebird. GX1, Leitz Telyt 400mm.

I had a feeling about using a telephoto lens today. I have a really heavy beast which has to be mounted on a tripod. It was offered in the Leitz catalog from 1956-1966. Mine is an example from 1961. Because of the crop factor, when attached to the little GX1 Micro 4/3, it functions as an 800 mm lens. I had just finished photographing the wind chimes on our neighbor's porch as they peeped between the just-emerging leaf buds on the trees, when a friendly birdie decided to set up shop on a branch close by. He became today's Blip.
