Attingham

Went to spin first thing- man she was feeling the egg hunt and made us work hard.

Went to Attingham Park for a wander round the house. Never been inside as I always go in winter time when it is closed.

I was struck by the volunteers all of whom were elderly and reminded me of my grandparents. They spent all day passing on knowledge and interesting facts for no pay. They were so lovely and enthusiastic. Bless them.

The roof was designed by a creative man but sadly it looked pretty but never worked as a roof from day one. They are in the 3rd year of a restoration project 'Through the roof'. The chandelier is on display as it can't go on the roof.

Went to see the Jones family afterwards and deliver the last of the eggs to the children. Had a good chat n tea and biscuits.
