Stress to calm in one day.....

Poor mum n dad are having their ups n downs stress wise at the moment. I promised them a stress free day which didn't begin well for them so I loaded them into the car and we headed off with no where in mind. We ended up here with many other people ambling along in the sunshine being pleasant to one another- rare in the news at the moment. We chatted to all sorts of people along the way, dad met a man who worked where he had worked many a year ago. Mum stood chatting to a lady knitting outside her moored boat. I admired all the motorbikes going by and renewed my desire for my bike licence.
The day ended with cookies and ice cream. Bonus. :-)
