Egg hunt

Took a little break from work today to celebrate Easter. Made gluten-free cinnamon rolls for breakfast that turned out quite yummy. There was bacon and eggs and traditional German rolls as well. Midday we headed to the new house and discovered the Easter Bunny had hid candy-filled eggs all over the property for the kids to hunt.

Then it was back to work for a few hours. But at 5pm one of my exchange daughters arrived with her significant other - we showed them around the house, then headed home to grill burgers for dinner. Not very traditional Easter fare, but easy and made everyone happy. I was a bit homesick today for my American family and our Easter traditions - but it was still a nice day.
