a happy Easter birthday

Sienna has been so very excited about having a birthday this year on Easter Sunday - presents and chocolate seem to be a hit combination! So much so that she was at our bedside this morning at 5am and again at 6 and 7, before we gave in and allowed the day to start. In fairness she just wanted to peep at the 'magic' of the table set with presents and chocolate and patiently waited until all her teenage siblings were up and ready for her to unwrap her gifts. She is very keen on mermaids at the moment and so her main present was a mermaid's tail and fins. She has already tried a set out and loved it so I guess going for a swim will be a little different from now on!

So between presents and Easter eggs and enjoying the new Crazy Climb at the climbing wall and friends over and watching her new Frozen DVD and playing with the kitten and pancakes and her favourite dinner - it was a pretty good day as a new seven year old...

Rushing pass so fast these precious years - enjoy them with us dear child...love you so much x
