Happy Easter!

I met some friends and their kids at Summerhall for the Edinburgh Maker Faire. It was a lot tamer than the Vancouver version Andy and I went to a couple of years ago, there were no huge mechanical bike type spiders, tesla coils or bamboo bikes, but there were twitter controlled fire throwers, laser cutter bugs, flexible solar panels and a sound playground.

Also open to the public for the day was Barney's Brewery based in Summerhall courtyard (this is just a peep through the door) and the new Pickering's Gin distillery, where we got a free sample!
