Kelpies

Today's blip was taken at the second evening of the official launch of the Kelpies.

The sculptures were illuminated by an ever changing light, sound and pyrotechnic display.

The Kelpies are by Andy Scott, each horses head stands 30m high and weighs 300 tonnes. They stand at the entrance to the Forth and Clyde canal, within the Helix
