Thistle Down

Our Talents

Let us count our every blessing,
And find our talents, too.
Let us brighten up the old ones,
And rally 'round the new.

May we search beneath heart-chambers,
In the inner-halls of self.
That all our gifts be multiplied,
And taken - off the shelf.

May there be no selfish gestures,
As we ravel out our powers.
With grateful hearts that add unto,
These talents that are ours.

Divinely...is the given trust,
And may we ever find.
A way to give to others,
And enrich our humankind.

May that of self...we give away,
Be acts of treasured gold.
All jeweled up by crystal bits,
That magnify...a hundred fold.
