Chasing gold

Goldfinches are rare visitors to the garden. Their visits last less than the time it takes to fetch the camera. However, on this wonderful sunny day, one entertained us with some fine singing before making its way to the bird feeder. That gave me time to find the camera and take a few shots.

I liked this one . It reveals what we all knew about Goldfinches - they have poor table manners.

Excellent day - I am ahead of the grass. A welcome though temporary status.
