Working dog

This charming little dog collects money for his accordion playing companion on the Lisbon Metro.

They ply the new Red Line between Bela Vista and Chelas. I met them first when we were en route (with suitcases ) from Cascais to our new hotel. When we headed back into town, I was ready with my camera and a tip for the four-legged collector.

Last night's meal was -well - epic. Called a Rodizio, it was a Portuguese special meal to celebrate Easter. We were all set to order when we were told we had everything. Six starters, four main courses and four desserts! Even having only a spoonful, we were well filled!

Our last day has been super. We're in the Oriente area, developed when Lisbon hosted Expo 1998. Stunning architecture, cable cars, shops. Actually well worth a visit. (It's also near the airport for our silly early flight back to Manchester).
