Shugborough

This particular shot is one of the highlights of The Shugborough Estate for me.  Not only is The Chinese House beautiful, in different ways in different lights, but the willow on the other side of the bit of river is where the gardeners see the Kingfisher.

It was so quiet today.  I had the chance to sit on the bench and watch closely, using binoculars. Of course I didn't see him, but it was delightful.

A  much colder and grey day today - and a totally different atmosphere around this corner than I've blipped before.
