Apothecary7 has a long weekend. Hooray !

This morning we went to M&S at city quay in Dundee for coffee and something nice for dinner. On the way home a visit to Dobbies for some terracotta pots for Apothecary7.

The pots will have Sunflowers. There will also be Cosmos which will go in the circular bed in the middle of lawn three in the back garden. They will be joined by some wild flowers, seeds for which I applied for after watching Country File on telly a couple of Sundays ago. Another small bed will have Rudbeckia. All of the above have been sown in modules and directly in the big pots by Apothecary7 this afternoon. I put flat leaf and curly parsley seeds in some modules.

We took Maeve the Deerhound for her walk before lunch. Usual route. The tide was well out so we wandered out into the channel in the rocks from where I got this view back over the beach to the seafront houses at Westhaven.
