The First Ducklings

Today I was determined to find some ducklings.

There don't seem to be any in my own town yet.

So ventured further afield.

Parked near some waterways in Horncastle.

As soon as I got out of my car I spotted these cuties.

They were rushing around.

Amazed at how quickly they can skim over the water.

Was a little concerned, because didn't seem to be a parent duck anywhere in the vicinity.

Lots of little ducklings quite happily scooting around.

Then heard quacking.

Mother duck appeared with many more ducklings in tow.

Was unable to count how many in total.

Ducklings everywhere.

All so tiny.

My mission was a success.
