Sun!

So wonderful to see and feel the sun today after two stormy days of wind and pelting rain. Prior to that we'd had a couple of weeks of damp, miserable days.

I think it got to 20 degrees which is positively scorching at this time of year.

We went in the gardens and I got loads of autumnal shades however this inquisitive brave sparrow won me over. She was so comfy where she was she was determined not to move even though the path was right past this plant. I also like the bokeh behind her, very full moon-ish but cause by the sun reflecting off the pond behind.

There were a few fantails around but they were in high-speed mode.
