Friday: Third Best Bar In The World

Well, according to Lonely Planet, at least......

But, to backtrack, a 4 day weekend is too much of a gift horse to look into the mouth of (if you know what I mean) so we have driven three hours down the road and are now in Budapest for the weekend.

Our accommodation is an absolute delight - we stumbled on it by accident on the internet and it has turned out to be one of the best places we have stayed in recent times!

Weather is amazing - part of the evening was spent in the Szimpla Kert Ruin Pub.  An amazing bar that has just grown organically over the years, as evidenced by this door.........
