Up a lazy River

Rather alot of Champagne was supped last night but not too late to bed so managed to get up at a reasonable hour and prepare for our annual day out with our lovely young near neighbours, W, S and their adorable son, TJ. We had a mooch around Much Wenlock, coffee and cakes there, lunch at The Black Swan in Jackfield (outside, with a wonderful view of the canooists on the River); tea and gluten free Hot Cross Buns in Ironbridge and then a brisk walk down the Severn Way back to Jackfield to walk it all off ............. Oh, and I fogot the ice creams somewhere along the way!!! We'll all sleep extra well tonight, particularly TJ!
