We've been in Birmingham today: First a wander round Brindley Place, the Symphony Hall and Victoria Square; bit of shopping in The Mailbox, a walk along the canal, lunch at The Handmade Burger Company watching the world go by and then at the NIA for the afternoon performance of the Dancing on Ice Tour and what is said to be the last ever show and performance by Jayne & Chris???? It was fabulous, Ray Quinn won the Champion of Champions this afternoon. The professionals wowed us with amazing performances; Some finalists from the last nine years such as Beth Tweddle, Hayley T, Kieran Bracken, Gareth Gates, Bonnie Langford, Suzanne Shaw and Ray, of course, danced some spectacular routines with their respective professional partners and Joe Pasquale did the comedy bit and brought the house arena down!! The Ice Panel consisted of Robin Cousins, Karen Barber and Nick Slater today.

We had rinkside seats which gave us amazing views of everything and I got to shake Christopher Dean's hand at the end of the show!! More starting here
