Good Friday
The start of the Easter weekend, and what a glorious day it's been. Alan and I took Louis out this morning along the Undercliff walk to Rottingdean and then came back over the top of the cliffs. The cliffs are covered in wild flowers at the moment, including bluebells which look and smell lovely. I love the different colour blues of the sea, it could be the Mediterranean, and if you look closely you'll see the yachts out at sea!
We then took Alan's mum and dad to the Marina for a walk followed by lunch. They really enjoyed looking at all the boats, and as Barry is a keen fisherman, he enjoyed looking at the fishing boats.
After lunch Alan and his mum and dad went home as Alan had some work to do, and I walked from the Marina to the Pier where I met Gillian and her family. The kids enjoyed the Pier and we spent a good hour catching up, it was lovely to see them.
Anyway, we're having a quiet night at home, so I'll try and finally catch up with you. Happy Easter!
