Mobile Phone

I seem to depend my mobile phone to:

..ring loudly during meetings when I've set it to silent.

..demonstrate how slowly I can write a text message.

..wake me up in the morning - every 10 minutes.

..contact the wife when we're shopping together after she has failed to be in the appointed shop at the appointed time.

..find the wife's phone by ringing it (normally, it's in the handbag draped over the bannister)

It is generally a very useful bit of kit. It only seems to let me down when the person on the other end sounds like they are in a box full of water and then cuts off. This almost always happens when I'm on the move.

i.e. when I'm mobile.
